A new survey of nude beaches around the world found that the beachfront resorts of Malibu and Fort Lauderdale are popular destinations for nude beachgoers.
The survey, conducted by Luxury Travel Solutions, found that, on average, 1.7 million visitors go nude every year.
It also found that in 2016, the average adult visited the beaches in Malibu by 5.6 minutes, or by 5 minutes and 34 seconds.
The average adult spent 11.4 minutes in the nude at the resort.
In Fort Lauderdale, visitors spent 10 minutes in a bikini.
The report, which was released Monday, said that the average person in the resort spent 4.5 minutes in their nude.
According to the report, the majority of the nude beach-goers visit a beach with a water feature.
Luxury said that beach-watchers may be drawn to the beach by the sun or by the water’s soothing quality, but it said that there’s a lot of room for improvement.
The company said that many nude beaches don’t offer the same kind of amenities that make them attractive.
For instance, it said the majority don’t have a designated restroom and that many beaches don’ t have any shade, which could make people feel uncomfortable and leave them exposed.
“Nude beaches are a great way to socialize, but many don’t provide the amenities that allow people to socialise safely,” said Ryan G. Sperling, vice president of consumer insights for Luxury.
“In a perfect world, all beaches should offer a pool, heated water and public restrooms.
But in reality, it is not uncommon for people to take their bathing suit off for a swim, shower and get undressed, especially if it is a hot day.”
Luxury found that 70% of the surveyed beaches have water features and only 14% have sand, while 18% have no water features at all.
Luxure said that most nude beaches lack a designated public restroom, and that most of the resorts that offer them don’t charge for water.
“The most important thing is to be able to swim in public,” Sperring said.
“A lot of these beaches are public so it is important that people can walk to the water and not have to walk to a designated pool.
You also have to be comfortable and not worry about a public restroom.”
Luxure says that a lot more nude beaches are coming online in 2018.
